Information we collect

Account details you give us: your name, email address and, optionally, a phone number. Your password is stored only as a one-way hash — we cannot read it, and neither can anyone who obtained our database.

Activity on the site: wishlist saves, reviews you write, and which product/merchant links you click through to (we log the click, not who you are — click records aren’t tied to your account).

How we use it

To run your account (wishlist, reviews), send transactional email (verification, password resets), respond to support requests, and detect fraudulent or abusive activity. We only send marketing email if you explicitly subscribe to our newsletter, and every one of those has an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

Our email provider delivers transactional messages on our behalf. We do not share your account data with advertisers, data brokers, or with Amazon/Flipkart — clicking through to their site is a normal outbound link, not a data handoff.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. If Meta Pixel analytics are enabled, it may set its own cookies to measure ad performance — this never includes your name, email or payment details, since we don’t collect the latter at all.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal profile, and outbound-click records (which never identified you personally) are unaffected.

Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, or ask for your account to be deleted. Email us from the address on your account and we will action it within 30 days.

Security

Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt, sessions use short-lived tokens that rotate, and administrative functions are restricted by role. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affected your data we would tell you promptly rather than quietly.
